        Manchester Mobile Bar Hire

Although our cash bar service is generally free, we have to charge £200 if there are less than 120 adults at the event and £300 if less than 80.

We ask for a refundable booking fee of £200. This is normally returned to you on the day the event takes place.  

Payments to be received at least 30 days before the event or the booking will be cancelled.

In the event of a booking with under 30 days notice, only half the booking fee will be returned.

We must be notified of any cancellation at least 30 days before the event.  If you cancel at least 30 days before the event, the booking fees will be returned to you immediately. If you cancel within 30 days of the event, the booking fee is non-refundable (unless there are exceptional circumstances, in which case we will use our discretion).

We have to insist that no-one brings their own drinks to the event.  We do not normally charge for our service and make our profit (as pubs do), through the sale of the drinks. Therefore, if people do bring their own drinks, the deposit is none refundable and extra charges for staffing may be incurred.

For events such as weddings, reception drinks and those supplied to accompany meals and toasts are to be bought through Manchester Mobile Bar Hire or a corkage fee of 50p per head is applied.  All the above mentioned drinks are to be cleared away after the meal or the booking fee is none refundable.

Plastic glasses are provided by us free of charge.

Glassware is available for hire at 20-25p per glass on average.  This is provided by a separate company - East Cheshire Glass Hire. Unreturned glasses and breakages are charged at £1.50 per glass (£2.00 per flute).  Delivery charges are applied at £1 per mile.  To cut down on the need for excess glassware hire we offer the option of providing extra members of staff to collect and wash the glasses at the event. This entails an extra charge of £10.00 per hour. There is a £50 refundable deposit to be paid for glassware hire. (£100 for very large events)

Delivery charges are applied at £1 per mile, unless the event is within a 15 mile radius of our base in Stockport, in which case we will deliver for free.  

We endeavour to supply enough of each product to last throughout the day/evening but due to individual tastes, we cannot ensure that a specific product will last for the whole event.

We supply a wide range of products, but should you require any special drinks, we would need two weeks notice. Please note that any special request drinks not drunk/used will be charged for at half the retail price as compensation to the bar for their outgoings. For keg hire, any kegs returned unused will be refunded at 75% of the cost.

We ask you to provide us with precise numbers of guests invited and to advise us as to their age range so that we can best cater for their needs.

We require details of access to the site of the event.

The event site must have provision for the supply of electricity and water (if glassware is hired).

Please note - it is the organiser’s responsibility to clear up all bottles and plastic glasses, along with the general refuse, after the event.

Our staff will not tolerate abusive or violent behaviour.

If during the event we deem  our terms and conditions to have been breached to a significant degree, we reserve the right to terminate our services before the event has finished and to retain the deposit.

Damages and/or charges, which add up to more than the deposit, will be charged as an additional sum.
     
        Linen Hire

All linen remains the property of the Manchester Mobile Bar Hire.

Prices quoted do not include delivery charges.

Once delivered it is the responsibility of the venue to ensure that the linen is covered by insurance for theft, damage and public liability.

Stolen, unreturned or permanently damaged linen will be charged for at its current replacement value.

Linen waiting for collection must not be left wet or in damp conditions as this promotes the growth of mould and mildew, rendering the cloths unusable.

Table linen must be kept separate from chefswear and kitchen cloths.
